Matthew is a raising DJ and electronic musician of 3 years from Ottawa, with a strong musical heritage from Jamaica. His sound is a unique blend of old-school and modern beats whose passion for music is matched only by his love of soccer, as he is an avid fan of the sport and closely follows his favorite team, Arsenal. With a healthy string of releases scheduled for 2023 and a constant focus on refining his DJ skills, Matthew is poised for continued success. Matt always loved music but mostly as a consumer e.g. playing guitar hero for endless hours as a teen. It wasn't until his time at university that slowly realized his passion and that he, himself could make and play music for others. He loves a wide range of genres such as Punk Rock/EMO, 2000's throwbacks, EDM, Reggaeton and Pop. Matt earned a bachelor's degree in management information system and analytics from the university of Ottawa and currently working for the government of Canada. He also speaks Spanish and English and is constantly to improve his French. Currently Matt can be found working for the government in Ottawa and producing electronic music in his spare time.
