We are looking for talented DJs who share our passion for music and commitment to excellence. As a DJ with Extreme Entertainment, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills at a variety of events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, school dances, and more. You will work closely with a talented team and grow your skills as a DJ.

Qualifications

2+ years of DJ experience
Own your own DJ deck & laptop
Have regular access to a registered & licensed vehicleLive in the Ottawa area, or willing to relocate.
Strong skills in Client Interactions, Networking, Crowd Reading, Writing, Emcee & Stage Presence, Mixing & Beat Matching, Music Knowledge, Technical Skill, Teamwork.
Physically able to lift and move heavy AV equipment

Highly Preferred:

Customer service, non-retail or commission sales experience
Bilingual
Your vehicle is an suv, van, or other large vehicle
Experience in AV & production
Post-secondary education

Responsibilities

Performance: Perform as a DJ at a range of events, representing the company’s brand and quality standards. Ensuring each performance is unique, engaging, and tailored to the audience and event theme.

Event Preparation: Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences before each event. Utilize our online music planning software to craft the perfect playlist for each client.

Energy: Deliver a stellar performance that matches the energy and atmosphere of each event. Our DJs mix live and keep an eye on the crowd to ensure the music resonates with guests.

Technical Proficiency: Setup & teardown a range of equipment alone or with the team depending on the package and customers requirements.

Growth: Actively seek and integrate feedback from performances to continuously improve skills.
